I am an early career researcher currently studying Methodology & Statistics (M.Sc.) at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Prior to that, I obtained a B.A. in Political Science at the University of Bremen, Germany. In early 2016, I resided at the Latin American Social Science Institute (FLACSO) as a visiting researcher.
My current work focuses on political participation, political trust, and the interrelations among these concepts using cross-national survey data and quantitative methods. More broadly, I am interested in Bayesian statistics, causal inference, and democratic development (encompassing fields like political behavior and political psychology). On this site you’ll find my current working papers and replication files, blog entries, teaching materials, and CV.
